Festival l'Ascension de l'Art 2026

The L'Ascension de l'Art festival invites you to Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, one of France's Most Beautiful Villages, for a unique artistic immersion from Thursday, May 14 to Sunday, May 17.
Every day from 11am to 6pm, some thirty professional artists from Charente, France and abroad will exhibit their work - sculpture, painting, drawing, installation, photography - in some twenty public and private venues. (barns, caves, chapels, convent, workshops, stores...). All of these sometimes unusual locations have been transformed into genuine exhibition spaces, accessible free of charge (with the exception of the monolithic church, for which admission is charged).
Live demonstrations, performances and meetings will punctuate these four days.
