Arboretum Irène Urbain

Close to the shops in the city center, the arboretum has a fitness trail and a walking path where you will discover different tree species. In this beautiful wooded area, you will find picnic tables with games for children with swings, turnstile, through the zip line...
This space is maintained without chemicals, respecting the growth and development of plants. It thus contributes to the maintenance of both flora and fauna biodiversity in the city.

The arboretum was named in honor of a great Barbezilian, teacher, USEP activist and creator of the Secular Association of Barbezieux, a course hailed by a medal of honor for Youth and Sports and a appointment of Knight in the Order of Academic Palms.
