The church of Saint-Martin was donated in 1153 by Count William IV to Peter of Lomond (abbot of Saint-Amant-de-Boixe).

The façade is reinforced at its ends by two buttresses. On one of the capitals, a dragon appears, the symbol of evil in the Middle Ages.

Most of the sculptures in the building are on the capitals. The apse, for example, (the part of the church where the altar is located) is particularly interesting. It shows an owl being harassed by birds. This representation belongs to the Romanesque bestiary. The owl, a night bird, symbolises the Jewish people in error against the Christians, represented by doves. We can also see animals and plants.

The church has been listed as a "Monument Historique" since 1952.
