Prieuré Sainte-Radegonde
It replaces a simple pediment, a bell tower-wall, where two bells were placed one above the other. Inside the church, a stained glass window represents Saint Radegonde, wife of Clothaire.
Saint Radegonde devoted her life and fortune to the poor and the sick, whom she cared for with devotion. She had a special place set up for lepers, whom she cared for and comforted as best she could. She founded the monastery of Sainte-Croix in Poitiers, but out of humility she refused to run it. Her kindness of heart earned her the name of Sainte-Radegonde.
