The Romanesque church comprises a barrel-vaulted nave, a transept whose crossing with the nave is surmounted by a cupola supported by pendentives, and a vast and well-lit apse.
The eastern end alongside the road is impressive in its enormous proportions and particularly in its height, which compensates for the slope of the land.
The nineteenth century bell-tower was designed by the architect Paul Abadie who had it built on the model of that of the church at Courcôme.
The composition of the façade is well-balanced. At ground level the central polylobed doorway with its semicircular arches is flanked by two blind arcades whose tympana are decorated with lions.
