Eglise Sainte-Marie de Chalais
This church stands in the middle of the village which bears its name, in the town of Chalais. It was built according to the plan of a Latin cross with a single nave and three bays, one projecting transept, and a semicircular apse. Originally Romanesque in style, the church has undergone many transformations over the centuries, and this is apparent in its discrepant architecture.
