Speaking of wonders ... Montmoreau and its surroundings are full of walking paths. You will have the possibility to stroll along the Tude river, or to go through the Montmorélien hillsides in search of rare orchids of the South Charente.

On the way, it is also advisable to take a step back. You will be able to get an overall view of the village. Two monuments stand out from the landscape: the castle of Montmoreau, which dominates the valley of the Tude, and the church of Saint-Denys. The latter has a sumptuous 12th century Romanesque portal and can be visited all year round.
