As soon as you start pedalling, take the time to admire the hillsides of Barbezieux, which you can discover 2 or 3 times.
Then you will arrive at Baignes (from the Latin Bénia, meaning "Land of the Blessed"), the end of this section. Make a note of this town, because every summer the local club organises a mountain bike ride called "Les Cagouilles de Baignes" with magnificent single-track routes that we will unfortunately only take a few of (mostly private woods) but which are open for this event.
